The DMA is the direct marketing association, one of Europe’s largest trade organisations with over 800 UK members including agencies, suppliers and blue-chip corporations as well as the AA, BT, Chelsea FC, Google, Lloyds TSB, M&S, Royal Mail and Sainsbury’s.
Policy and best practice is driven by 12 Councils, which specialise in business areas such as training and development, lobbying, digital marketing and data protection services. They are nationwide with offices in London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Manchester.

I have known Georgia Hall since 1995 when she first presented the potential of digital media to me at a seminar at the Institute of Directors. As Chairman of Evans Hunt Scott, one of the UK's top direct marketing agencies, I asked Georgia to talk to my clients regarding the benefits of creating digital marketing strategies. Within 6 months Tesco, NatWest, Microsoft and United Airlines had all appointed Georgia and her team to create a variety of digital projects. With our funding support Georgia then set up Zinc, which grew into a respected 90-strong digital agency.
