From Newcastle Upon Tyne, first job was fashion designer in New York. Moved to London to TBWA as an account manager, recruited by Tower Records US/UK as global brand director and got into digital in 1993. Founded top digital agency and sold to Havas. Now work with clients as an external consultant.

BUSINESS

Founded and ran the top 5 digital agency ZINC for seven years and sold to Havas Advertising with 100 personnel, retained clients and £10m revenue from brands including Microsoft, Tesco, Tesco ClubCard, Virgin Atlantic, Vodafone and Samsung.

BRAND

Success includes launching 45 YO! Sushi restaurants and making it a global player, increasing value of Casual Dining Group from by £39m to £399m; growing Chelsea FC database to 4m, increasing retail sales to £127m and creating the Asia Tour campaign.

LOVE

Communicating, collaborating, producing plans, presenting, storytelling, creating content, making wow marketing plans. Thinking outside the box, conversing with designers,talking to techies, working hard and – most importantly – having fun and being nice.
