Chelsea Football Club

I was brought in as head of brand, on the Chelsea Football Club board, because of my absolute lack of football knowledge.  Chelsea FC IS a beautiful blue brand and I had the pleasure of working with Havas Advertising on a refresh, Peter Blake on the Adidas sponsorship programme, Barbra Charone PR on the launch of the live music venue and got to set up and run their Asia Tour in Hong Kong, Thailand and Beijing.  I also experienced global brand control of the highest degree, learned all about a culture which makes a heritage brand worth £227m in global retails sales and amassed some real-life stories which would probably have me shot if repeated out loud.  I also increased the global database by 400% to 16m followers.
